It also never ceases to amaze me how movies and tv shows love to insert they're old fashioned beeps when scrolling and clicking links on a computer even though its running a modern operating system and EVERYONE knows the computers don't do that. Oh and i would say Swordfish. (And not just because of the Halle Berry scene okay!) |

Wargames and Sneakers top the list for me. And, although it was a TV show, I have to mention Max Headroom. They had a sort of steampunk approach to tech. But, the thing I loved the most was looking at the detail. Keep in mind this was a show from the 80s. On one episode I had taped (you remember videotape, don't you?) I paused playback to look at a computer screen. It showed a map of Russia with a city name Reagangrad. Politics and tech - who'd ever think of that?
