I have an iMac G4 running OSX10.3.9 and because of web page viewing problems have just installed Mac OSX Tiger 10.4.3, to enable me to download later versions of Safari and Firefox, which I have done succcessfully.

Everything is great now apart from the fact that I now can not open my iTunes! When I try, I get a pop up saying "iTunes requires Mac OSX10.4.9 or later..." This does not make any sense, as I ran it perfectly on the older OSX10.3.9!

Any ideas please? Thanks

My hard drive crashed and I now have the time to crack open my backup disk and start restoring my old data. I installed a new hard drive as soon as my original crashed, though, and started from scratch. Thankfully, most programs have allowed me to import old data or just replace preference files with the originals on my backup drive. Skype, however, seems to have a very strange organizational structure for its chat logs. I'm curious if anyone has any suggestions for merging the two sets of Skype chat logs I have (the set on my backup and the set that I created on newer hard drive that I installed after my orignal one crashed). The Skype forums don't seem to be a big help and I'm really hoping to be able to address this issue. Thanks!

Hey all,

Recently I decided to make an App for the iPhone (and have no idea how to use the SDK)

But I thought... How I'd love to make an App for Mac, ie a game perhaps like Racer.

But I dont want to have to buy the other SDK thingy to create Mac apps... Is there any other way (preferably without DAYS of coding - but I dont mind hours of coding :) )

iMovie messes up sound tracks on export. Why, oh why?

I have shot a video (SD) with my Panasonic camera which makes .MOD files, which is a kind of .mpeg. I could import them in iMovie directly only after an iMovie update released a week ago or two. I made some of the clips be only sound and added them as voiceovers to some other clips. But when I export them, the voiceover is somehow delayed, and some clips that come between voice-overed ones have sound delay, too. One more thing: iMovie converts them (to .mov?) only on request, because it can do any kind of edit to them while they're .MODs except for speed change, which I used only on a few of the clips. Any idea on what should I do? I need to complete it by Saturday (the 31st). Please help me!
