Hi,
I'm a total Novice at Xcode but, I'm trying to build or Modify a Kext to get a PC cardbus reader to work on my Intel Mac pro 10.5.6. I've opened some Xcode samples but without tuition it's all pointless confusion. is there an Xcode expert out there who could write a Kext driver for me, or at least point me in some uesful direction. I have a 10.5.5 partition that works "sort of" most times , but 10.5.6 update has broken the link. Cheers For any advice TomK |

I have now sourced a "Hacked" PC card driver that works in Ledpard 10.5.6
For others interest, I contacted four Mac development companies, two replied and said they don't do PCMCIA for Intel Mac leopard, the others didn't even respond. Seems there's precious few people on the planet who can or even do, write drivers for Mac's. And yes I did join and ask Apple ADC, they were not overly helpful. looks like a dead end, Hail to the "hackers". Such is life. TomK Last edited by TomK; 03-03-2009 at 02:29 AM.. Reason: typos |
