I have an iPhone 3G. I used iTunes to create two custom ringtones, and I assigned them to two contacts. One of them works--when the person A calls, custom ringtone A plays. The other one doesn't. When I open person B's contact information, it shows I've assigned custom ringtone B, and if I press the line that says ringtone B, it plays, but when person B calls, my default ringtone plays. Any idea how to fix it?

Try removing the custom ringtone from the contact and readding it. Also, try it with other contacts to make sure it's not the tone.
