Your question doesn't really make sense. Intel based PCs with the same hardware as a Mac should theoretically be identical to a Mac in performance. Macs excel in ease of use and security, and tend to have much greater longevity.

Macs can also have Intel processors, mine does and it works great. What makes the Mac superior has more than one aspect. Your much less likely to get a virus since the evil virus makers don't focus on creating viruses for Mac operating systems as there is much less damage to be done (less people operate Macs compared to PC operating systems).

Also, while the smaller user base is one reason for the lack of malware, the superior security of OS X is another. OS X is based on Unix, which is the one of the most stable and secure operating systems around. You never have to see the Unix core below if you don't want, or you can access the shell via Terminal.

The biggest and by far the most important architectural difference between the Mac and Intel architectures is how multibyte data is stored. The Mac is arguably the better design, A lot of effort is put into usability of the hardware and software. So, I put my vote on Mac...

There is NO difference. The current Mac line up uses Intel processors.
